No. Only some tests require fasting: Blood sugar, Cholesterol/triglycerides, Liver function, Metabolism tests, Some hormones. Other tests are not affected.

Yes. Medications that often affect tests are: Thyroid hormones, Cortisones/steroids, Hormonal medications, Iron, Blood thinners, Biotin (strongly affects hormonal tests). Always inform the laboratory.

No, it is not mandatory. But it is recommended that blood samples be taken in the morning, before taking thyroid medication.

Usually: Day 2-5 of the cycle for FSH, LH, Estradiol. Day 21-23 for Progesterone. Prolactin is taken in the morning, without stress. The doctor may request other days depending on the case.

It is a test where a sterile stick is rubbed on the back of the throat and tonsils. It takes 2-3 seconds and doesn't hurt.

Yes. Antibiotics can give false negative results. It is recommended not to take antibiotics 48-72 hours before taking the swab.
